A role you will love
As our Operations Manager I, you will lead a team to ensure top-level service of document review, certification and safekeeping services for our clients in investment banking, insurance and government agencies. You will manage the daily production and staff activities for your assigned group and location.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage the safekeeping of Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) and Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS)
- Familiarize and review safekeeping procedures, identify and implement strategic approaches to support business growth
- Monitor and manage incoming requests, prioritize tasks, and distribute work
- Work with 3rd party vendors (ie. FedEx, UPS, Quicksilver) to ensure package delivery and pick-ups are operational
- Work to build an effective team through coaching and training, developing subject matter experts in all areas of the vault
- Creating capacity plans, monitor reports, and manage production staff to ensure service level agreements are met
- Review/approve timecards and PTO
- Ensure team adheres to Line of Business and company policies
- Co-facilitate with peer vault managers to move resources between teams/locations based on priorities.
- Conduct team and 1-on-1 meetings with direct reports once per month
- Completing written performance reviews for each direct report at mid-year and year-end
- Ensuring production and quality assurance goals for every task are met or exceeded, entered into the Manual Information Center (MIC) accurately and timely
- Interacting with our internal partners on a daily basis
- Partner with subject matter experts, business partners, and Relationship Managers to provide input to service level agreements, expectations, fees, and turnaround times
- Contribute to your team's strategic plan to align with the Corporate Trust and Computershare's objectives.

What will you bring to the role?
The leadership aspect is one of the most important elements to the role's success. Being able to bring people together to work collaboratively will be a strength of yours and you will be transparent in your expectations of the Vault Operations team.
Leadership doesn't just come down to the team you develop, but also being able to build and maintain relationships across our business, and the ability to influence and negotiate.
Other key skills required for the role include:
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in financial services; commercial loan, mortgage back securities, document custody, operations management
- Proven ability to analyze information and make independent decisions
- Strong communication skills; written and verbal
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite functions
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Familiarity with our system of record EmbTrust
- Knowledge of Asset-Backed and/or Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities
- Experienced working in a fast-pace environment
- Takes the initiative to learn and grow within your role, the team, and the business

Compensation. The typical base pay range for this role is $51,485 - $66,000. This base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations
