A role you will love

As one of our Junior Quality Automation Engineers you will work within our cross-functional agile teams and be involved throughout the full development lifecycle from requirements elicitation to the delivery of high-quality technical solutions.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in Identifying opportunities for automation to streamline operations and improve productivity. Design, develop, and implement automation tests to enhance efficiency and reduce human intervention.

Some of the key responsibilities:

  • Delivering Test Analysis, Design, Implementation & Execution activities to assess functional suitability of software.
  • Use formal test design techniques to translate requirements into clearly defined, prioritised test cases.
  • Understand and execute automation.
  • Following defined test processes and ensuring test tools used are up to date.
  • Utilising recognised test management tools to prepare and execute test cases.

What will you bring to the role?

We are looking for somebody who has a true passion for all things Test automation. As this is a junior role, we are ideally looking for someone who has a good level of knowledge on Software Development & Test Automation.

You will be a collaborative individual who enjoys working as part of a team, as well as a strong learner. You should also be an excellent problem solver and be able to make decisions based on analysis and personal judgement/experience.

Some other key skills that you'll have:

  • A good understanding of the software development lifecycle, testing practices & technologies.
  • Excellent test automation knowledge and/or skills.
  • Test automation programming skills in SQL, Java and J-Unit.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of CI/CD practices
  • Willingness to continue to learn and develop.
