We are actively seeking a Junior Client Manager to join our dynamic Client Management team. This client-facing position offers a vital opportunity to support senior team members on key client accounts and projects. You'll collaborate closely with Account Managers, Senior Account Managers, directly contributing to Georgeson's esteemed reputation for exceptional service and results. This is an exciting opportunity within a time-sensitive and often regulated environment, where your clear communication, meticulous attention to detail, and consultative mindset will be highly valued. While direct client ownership is not a primary responsibility, you will be instrumental in supporting the delivery and ensuring the quality of client engagements, taking on crucial responsibilities in project coordination and reporting. A role you will love
As a Junior Client Manager, you'll dive right into the heart of client engagement. You'll work together with experienced account managers, actively contributing to the planning and management of client accounts. Your dedication to providing exceptional service will be key to maintaining and expanding our existing client relationships. This includes the opportunity to attend and present at both external client meetings and internal discussions, giving you direct exposure to the strategic discussions that shape our business.
You'll be instrumental in fostering profitable business and sustainable relationships through effective communication, liaison, and negotiation, both internally and externally. You'll also play a crucial role in streamlining project methods, ensuring efficient and cost-effective completion. Here's a snapshot of what you'll be doing:

  • Championing client success: Instilling a consultative and proactive approach with every client.
  • Proxy knowledge expert: Gaining a comprehensive understanding of the proxy knowledge process in specific markets.
  • Direct client engagement: Attending and presenting at external client meetings.
  • Internal collaboration: Participating in internal discussions to shape client strategies.
  • Operational excellence: Ensuring project methods are streamlined for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Support for senior teams: Providing vital daily support to account managers and senior account managers, including reporting and project delivery.

What will you bring to the role?
You're a highly interpersonal and communicative individual, someone who is self-motivated and intuitive in their approach. Your attention to detail is exceptional, and you're dedicated to providing outstanding customer service. You'll also need strong PC literacy to thrive in this position.
Beyond these core attributes, we're looking for someone who demonstrates a genuine desire to develop personally within the role and who is consistently reliable. Ideally, you'll also possess:

  • A base-level understanding of capital markets
  • Prior consulting experience
  • An understanding of corporate governance
