A role you will love

Within your role at Computershare, you will be given full training and support, to ensure you are able to do your role to the highest standard.

As part of the IT Support (Client Services) team, you will carefully and promptly plan all activities such as the procurement of technical resources (hardware and people), perform accurate tests of the IT systems, and prepare necessary resources to guarantee the continuity of service.

You will be provided with ongoing support and training monthly, to ensure you can do your role to the highest standard.

You will also have the opportunity to support in the Shareholders' meeting management service.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Hardware management (requesting repair of faulty material, supply of new material, disposal of obsolete/faulty material, purchase of accessories and consumables).
  • Analysis and simulation of the various scenarios of the meeting season and planning of the needed hardware.
  • On-site inspections of the meeting locations for technical and operational assessments, relations with the fitters and technicians of the Client and/or the owner of the assembly location.
  • Drafting of the technical project of the meeting containing the hardware used, the planned LAN scheme and the activity timing.
  • Technical and system support before, during and after the meetings.

What will you bring to the role

Within this role, you will be responsible for helping support the client service managers and their teams in the operations area. We are looking for someone who has strong communication skills, can work in a team (with colleagues, suppliers, and customers) whilst also being a strong problem-solvers, and has a high level of stress management and willingness to learn.

Other key skills required for the role include:

  • Administration of systems and domains based on Windows Server 2016/2019.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
  • Experience in managing VMware virtualized systems.
  • Familiarity with the configuration and management of LAN networks (TCP/IP, VPN, Firewall, switch, router, access point).
  • Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell) for the automation of operations.
  • Excellent knowledge of English: B2 level or higher.
  • At least three years of experience in the sector.

Please note, you will need to hold a driving license and your own car for this role, along with being available for short trips.

Other requirements of the role include:

  • Understanding of Windows 10 or higher
  • Windows Server 2016 or higher
  • IOS Mobile devices
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Sql, Phython, C#, Vb.Net
  • General knowledge of the Windows office packages (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
