JOB DESCRIPTION

IT Consultant (m/f/d)

Location: Munich - Hybrid

In this position, you'll be based in the Munich office for a minimum of two days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for some of your working week. Find out more about our flexible work culture at computershare.com/flex.

We offer you a world of possibilities

Would you like to work at the heart of the capital market and come into personal contact with executive and supervisory boards of listed companies as an IT consultant? Are you looking for a job that couldn't be more varied? Would you like to be part of a great team at a medium-sized employer with the advantages of a global player?

Issuer Services is our largest business area in Germany: we work for stock corporations, including many of the world's largest, and support them in fulfilling their capital market obligations. Our services for issuers range from share register management to annual general meeting organization and support to proxy services.

A role you will love

After comprehensive training, you will start working with your own clients as an IT consultant/IT project manager (focus: Q&A management) at our locations in Munich or Frankfurt am Main.

As part of our consulting team, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Supporting public limited companies in the planning, organization, implementation, and follow-up of annual general meetings and similar formats (physical or virtual)
  • Providing intensive consulting services to clients (top-level management) of all company sizes, especially with regard to the process-optimized implementation of Q&A management
  • Planning and organizing the technical setup and workflow for meetings, configuring databases, installing software, and creating technical documentation
  • Needs analysis, screening, and updating of own IT hardware and software
  • Planning, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of networks and Windows-based IT systems
  • Monitoring, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of IT equipment and facilities
  • Supporting product management and software development in testing and optimizing our systems
  • Assignment to meetings - nationwide on site
  • Coordination of technical setup and dismantling, administration and support of IT systems, fault analysis and troubleshooting
  • Conducting briefings, training sessions, and dress rehearsals-internally as well as for and with our customers
  • Collaboration on internal projects and topics related to the Annual General Meeting

What will you bring to the role?

After completing your studies or training in the field of IT for system integration or in another IT-related field (as an IT specialist, IT systems management assistant, or similar), you have already gained relevant professional experience. You have in-depth knowledge of Windows-based IT and server systems, database administration (MSSQL, Sybase), general network technology, its planning, configuration, maintenance, and administration, as well as software installation and documentation. You enjoy communicating with our customer contacts and guiding them safely through the "annual general meeting" project as a project manager. As our line of business requires a higher seasonal workload and travel within Germany (especially in the period from April to June), you have the necessary flexibility.
