Our team are currently looking to recruit an Infrastructure Operations Engineer - Core Services to join our Technology Operations department within Computershare Technology Services.

A role you will love

As one of our Engineers, you will have great variety to role as you will be responsible for the management, maintenance and optimisation of our IT infrastructure Services that support our organisations IT and business processes.

You will be part of the Global Infrastructure Operations Team, which is responsible for providing 2nd and 3rd line support to all of CTS customers and clients. Our team enhances customer experience through investigating and resolving system faults and enabling our customers to run their operations effectively.

Some key responsibilities:

  • During your assigned time zone, you will be responsible for incident and request management and support of the Global infrastructure.
  • Support and maintain the operational aspects of our infrastructure services.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and health of the organization's equipment related to the IT infrastructure services.
  • Ensure all key services are monitored with the Computershare NOC and have appropriate run books.
  • Support infrastructure service incidents and root cause analysis.
  • Deliver IT Operations in line with Business Process KPIs, User Experience and CSAT Objectives.
  • Facilitate routine reviews for operational stability and performance across the E2E Service Design (including technical reviews with IT Stakeholders on the robustness of Infra/security/data - and User reviews with business stakeholders).
  • Delivery of infrastructure Operation projects and initiatives.

What will you bring to the role?

You will have a deep understanding of Service Management operational frameworks such as ITIL, Capacity Planning, Service Level Agreements, Project Management, procurement, IT Support and integration.

Other key skills required for the role include:

  • Knowledge of service governance processes and the ability to understand risk to services.
  • Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud services.
  • Proven experience in managing complex enterprise level infrastructure solutions and services.
  • Proven experience of driving automation of process and tasks.
  • Deep expertise of Microsoft Server Platforms and MS Products.
  • Understanding of RHEL, IDM and Ansible.
  • Excellent understanding of DNS.
