Head of Investor Engagement Marketing

London - Hybrid

As our Head of Investor Engagement Marketing, you'll be instrumental in shaping our business strategy and driving the marketing efforts that enable our success across the globe. You'll lead the creation and execution of integrated marketing plans that drive awareness, engagement, and growth, strengthening our brand perceptions worldwide.

This is a key leadership role where you'll collaborate with a wide range of teams-including relationship management, sales, product, and more-to build new client relationships and deepen existing ones. You'll report to the Head of Issuer Services Marketing, with dotted-line reporting to the global CEO of Investor Engagement.

You'll work closely with executive leadership, bringing your deep experience in launching and scaling businesses to the forefront. By translating business objectives into a clear and effective marketing strategy, you'll not only deliver results in a high-demand environment but also help build a collaborative, high-performing marketing team. You will be a vital voice in strategic business conversations, workshops, and high-level meetings, ensuring our go-to-market strategies are innovative and successful.

  • You'll be a key strategist: You'll analyse market trends, the competitive landscape, and client needs to develop and recommend informed business and marketing plans.
  • You'll be a leader and mentor: You will manage, mentor, and develop other marketers, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
  • You'll drive growth: You'll oversee all aspects of our marketing efforts, from brand management and content creation to event planning and product launches, all aimed at increasing awareness and generating demand.
  • You'll manage our resources: You will be responsible for managing the marketing budget and overseeing relationships with external agencies, ensuring our resources are used effectively.
  • You'll have a global impact: You will create and execute global marketing plans that directly support business growth objectives, strengthening the Computershare | Georgeson brand worldwide.
  • You'll be data-driven: You'll analyse marketing performance data to assess effectiveness, uncover key insights, and continuously optimize our programs and tactics.

What will you bring to the role?

You'll be a seasoned leader with over 15 years of financial services or fintech marketing experience, ideally with a background in equities and a deep understanding of how capital markets function. We're looking for someone who can not only manage and develop a team but also be a creative problem-solver with a "roll up your sleeves" attitude. You'll be confident in your ability to influence and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across different functions and regions, ensuring our marketing initiatives are aligned with global business priorities and objectives.

  • Strategic & Analytical Thinking: You'll use your analytical skills to measure marketing performance, linking regional plans and offerings to global priorities to deliver measurable results.
  • Team Leadership: You'll have proven experience in leading, mentoring, and developing marketing talent across different functions, motivating them to achieve high performance.
  • Capital Markets Expertise: You'll have a strong grasp of corporate governance, stakeholder management, and the critical roles of Investor Relations and Corporate Secretaries.
  • Product and Solution Marketing: You have experience launching technology-based products combined with executive-level advisory services to markets worldwide. You also possess excellent project management and time management skills, allowing you to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and matrixed environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: You'll be highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with additional experience in platforms like Salesforce, Eloqua, Cvent, and BI being a strong plus.
  • Influential Communication: You'll be a confident and empathetic communicator with great interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships and achieving alignment across diverse viewpoints. You thrive on building up a strong marketing engine.
