Through partnerships our team actively supports the business objectives whilst reducing the overall risk to Computershare.

The P&E team are responsible for the timely and accurate processing of strategic security data, report generation and coordination, demand and engagement forecasting.

A role you will love

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cyber Security Business & Reporting Analyst to join our small and dedicated team. This Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of high-quality reporting from various sources and aggregate these into packs for our key execs using Power BI, and supporting our internal projects and workload management system, Azure DevOps. You will formulate solutions and translate them into technical requirements, define success criteria and proof of value, and effectively manage stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

  • Creation of monthly/quarterly dashboards and reporting packs.
  • Working to strict deadlines and service delivery KPIs.
  • Collate, ingest and maintain key security, demand, risk and training data in our key systems, in real-time.
  • Analysis and corrections of errors/exceptions, ensuring that key static data and dynamic data sets are accurate.
  • Liaise with internal contributors, customers, operational and support teams to ensure any issues are resolved promptly.
  • Assist in maintaining/tracking key initiatives and improvement projects.

What will you bring to the role?

The role requires a good understanding of a Cyber Security environment, concepts and team's responsibilities/objectives (or similar e.g. IT, Application Development) which can be transferred into our team. Excellent skills in Power BI, Excel, SQL, Azure DevOps, and similar/complimentary analytics toolsets, with expertise in building, maintaining, and improving Power BI models, particularly where inefficiencies have been identified.

Knowledge of demand/backlog workflow tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira and experience of managing workloads, reporting from and backlog maintenance in these toolsets. You will understand reporting, security and technical concepts and ability to communicate them effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

Key skills required:

  • Attention to detail, great analytical skills and an analytical approach.
  • Bring a creative, design-thinking approach-understanding problems deeply, identifying root causes.
  • Communicate well creating accurate and punctual reports, present business justifications & cost analysis, has good listening skills, able to voice their opinion and provide constructive feedback in a positive manner.
  • Ability to aggregate and apply different reporting methods including Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Excel to various collections of data producing dynamic dashboards facilitating self-serve, 24/7 reporting and static PowerPoint reports alike.
  • A positive mindset with good listening skills who builds strong relationships, is flexible/open-minded, straightforward, honest, negotiates effectively, solicits performance feedback, handles conflict and maintains confidentiality.
  • Confident enough to call out issues.

Desirable:

  • Proven record creating databases to store data in the most efficient way.
  • Understanding of demand and forecast management and willingness to support and train others in their use.
  • Flexible approach and ability to work co-operatively within a team environment
  • Awareness of project management techniques and methodologies.
