A role you will love
As one of our FinOps Specialists, you be responsible for managing and optimizing cloud financial operations, with a strong focus on Azure, and growing into other cloud providers. This role bridges the gap between finance, engineering, and operations to ensure efficient cloud spend, cost transparency, and financial accountability.

In this role, you will be monitoring and analysing cloud spend across platforms and services. While doing this you will identify cost-saving opportunities and work with the relevant teams to implement solutions and best practices.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with engineering teams and business partners to implement recommendations.
- Drive the implementation of operational processes to support FinOps practices leveraging ITSM models.
- Maintain historical cost data and trend analysis.
- Monitor compliance with cloud usage policies and cost controls.
- Work with finance and product teams to align forecasts with business plans.
What will you bring to the role?
As you've probably gathered by now, we are looking for someone with an excellent understanding of FinOps practices and successful experience of implementation and execution of them. As this is a specialist role, you will need to be comfortable providing support and guidance to members of the team as well as providing development opportunities.
With this role being global and a key part of our team, we are looking for someone with experience in a similar role in a complex organisation. As this role will be dealing with various different stakeholders and teams, you will need excellent communication skills to effectively provide clear verbal and written communications with internal stakeholders, their teams and the leadership team.
Other key skills required for the role include:
- Proven experience working within the FinOps space, ideally within a financial services environment.
- Excellent cloud experience, particularly in Azure and AWS.
- Reporting skills to effectively provide updates and analysis for stakeholders and teams.
- Experience of leveraging PowerBI for reporting dashboards.
- Excellent attention to detail and evaluative judgement based on best practice and previous experience.
- The ability to co-ordinate, lead and direct efforts, ensuring that quality standards and time constraints are continuously delivered to a high standard.
