The Finance function is responsible for providing Corporate and Client Treasury, Financial Planning & Analysis, Reporting, Financial Control and Financial Operational and System support to all business units and functions throughout Computershare across all global locations.

The Finance Change Team is responsible for managing and delivering the finance change initiatives (regulatory or as defined by the Finance Leadership Team) related to finance processes, workflow, reports, system integrations and supporting transitions of future acquisitions or demergers.

A role you will love

The Finance Programme Director is responsible for ongoing management and delivery of key programmes on behalf of the Global Head of Finance Change to ensure that the desired programme outcomes and objectives are delivered.

You will lead and manage the programme team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure successful programme delivery. In addition to tracking the progress and performance of the programme, using key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and identify areas for improvement.

Other key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the financial programme, setting clear objectives, timelines, and deliverables to align with the organization's strategic goals.
  • Ensure that financial resources are allocated effectively within the programme to maximize impact and efficiency.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for the programme. This involves regular communication and collaboration with relevant departments and partners.
  • Identify potential risks associated with the programme and develop strategies to mitigate them. This ensures the programme is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation on the progress, outcomes, and financial status of the programme.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing and refining the programme to enhance its effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Deputise for the Global Head of Finance Change as required.

What will you bring to the role?

You will have extensive experience as a programme manager/director within a finance function along with a proven track record in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

The Finance Programme Director will be an experienced leader and adept at managing teams, with strong direction and mentorship skills. With ability to set a clear vision and direction for the programme, inspiring and motivating the team to achieve goals.

Other key experience:

  • Expert in identifying and mitigating programme risks.
  • Familiarity with financial regulations and standards.
  • Knowledge of methodologies for enhancing programme efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks.
  • Experience in managing large-scale projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Highly experienced in planning, organizing, command, coordination, and controls.
  • Highly experienced in executive level reporting and presentations.
