This is a hybrid position primarily based in Bristol. We're committed to your flexibility and wellbeing and our hybrid strategy currently requires two days a week in the office, giving you the option to work remotely for some of your working week. This could be a CIPD qualification or an Apprenticeship depending on your career goals and learning style. This role is the perfect foundation for a career in HR where you will work within the Shared Services, People Function and support across our global regions. You will build your knowledge and capability to include Service Delivery, Employee Relations, Learning & Development, and Reward to provide effective support to projects and business as usual activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex transactions during leave of absence, redundancy, and business change events.
  • Provide advice and guidance on policy and process throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Ensure accurate data is provided to Payroll for payment processing.
  • Identify and resolve processing, system, and automation errors.
  • Meet risk, compliance, and data privacy requirements.
  • Build relationships across teams and external vendors to ensure effective processing and escalation management.
  • Communicate effectively with managers and employees.
  • Manage own workload and flexibly support the team as needed.
  • Review work processes to identify and implement improvements.

A role you will love

This is a role driven by process, but no two days are the same. Supporting our employees by answering queries whether it's to do with absence, maternity, or redundancy there is always something to keep you interested and challenged. This is a global role where you will build close relationships across departments like payroll and employee relations and could progress your career within our wider People team. A fast-paced role within a small team that supports each other with advice where needed but also work independently, coming together in the Bristol office 2 days per week.

What will you bring to the role?

  • Previous HR experience is highly desirable as is admin experience and use of HR Operating systems.
  • You must be computer literate with an understanding of Excel.
  • Be able to deal with sensitive situations showing empathy and compassion to our employees.
  • This role would suit someone methodical, and process driven with an affinity for dealing with people.
  • CIPD level 3 and above would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
