Working in Issuer Services could mean anything from assisting shareholders with their portfolios, managing company meetings, enabling access to global markets, or supporting the highest standards of regulatory compliance across the world.
A role you will love
We are looking for dynamic candidates to join us inleading the Sales efforts & achieve quota targets within a specified territory. You will be responsible for targeting companies that will be raising capital in the equity markets & developing relationships and working partnerships (e.g. Law Firms, Investment Banks and other influencers) that enable Computershare to achieve a preferential position in servicing these companies. The focus will be on Computershare Issuer Services Registry and Transfer Agency portfolio for privately traded but publicly registered alternative investments. - as well as being about to speak to and identify opportunities for our broader portfolio of offerings. This individual will work closely with the US Leadership Team; and will have a direct reporting relationship with the Executive Vice President of Issuer Services Business Development leveraging influencers, law firms and sponsors to ensure they are aware of our forthcoming full-service capabilities.
Primary Accountabilities
- Continue to pursue sponsors that are within our addressable market. Collaborate with technology and operations to ensure our technology development is geared toward market requirements.
- Possess C-Suite presence and presentation skills.
- Achieve targeted quota during each fiscal year.
- Collaborate with ops and technology to ensure Technology being developed is appropriately designed to meet the available market needs.
- Assist our marketing and communications teams in messaging our capabilities to the market both now and in the future.
- Represent Computershare in the most professional way to both sponsors influencers, investment banks as well as intermediaries.
- These accountabilities would result in a succeeding at our five-year growth plan in each of the coming years.
- Identify new areas for Computershare to grow our alternative and investment servicing capabilities.
What will you bring to the role

Other key skills required for the role include:
- 10+ years of domain and business development experience working within the Financial Services, Alternative Investments servicing or technology, Institutional Investment Firms and/or Portfolio Services (e.g., Legal) organizations
- Experience establishing commercial arrangements with the General Counsel, Corporate Secretaries, and Investor Relations constituencies across various sized Corporations or similar C- Level proven experience.
- Unwavering commitment to personal performance, and a history of success exceeding annual quotas or assigned deliverable targets
- Ability to navigate large complex organizations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all buyer personas (individual contributor to C-level).
- A logical and methodical sales process with a commitment to utilizing CRM and sales enablement tools.
- Intellectual curiosity: someone who strives to understand everything about the market and the needs of our customers to provide a comprehensive solution
- Must be able to operate with autonomy, accountability, and discipline in a decentralized work environment
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. Must have the ability to deliver concise, logical written documents and the presence to convey the company's vision and product definitions to both large and small audiences.

Compensation. The base pay range for this role is $136,000 - $175,000/yearly plus an incentive plan (details to be provided). This base pay range is specific to Jersey City NJ and may not be applicable to other locations.
