A new opportunity for a Customer Due Diligence Specialist to join our Plans business has risen. A role you will love
With the successful establishment of our business in HK/China, we are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated person to join our Customer Due Diligence and Project Implementation Team as a Customer Due Diligence Specialist and mainly support customer due diligence related tasks.
The Customer Due Diligence and Project Implementation Team mainly oversees customer due diligence, the implementation of employee share plans for HK, US, SGP-listed, A-share and pre-IPO companies. In addition, they will be responsible to implement new processes and tools whilst providing ongoing support to internal client service, operation teams and external clients.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Facilitate the customer due diligence (CDD) processes, including new client onboarding, triggering event and periodic review
- Navigate public databases and internal systems to identify & verify due diligence information
- Stay current on regulatory changes, industry best practices, and emerging trends in AML and KYC to ensure ongoing compliance and process improvement.
- Provide guidance and support to front-line staff on CDD procedures, documentation requirements, and regulatory obligations.
- Participate in effective communications with client
- Co-operate with colleagues (compliance/risk/audit) around the globe in addressing relevant client needs
- Identify missing CDD documentation and remediate as appropriate
What will you bring to the role?
You will have 1-2 years of experience in customer due diligence and have client facing exposure preferably in a professional services field or within the financial services sector. You will be attentive to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Other key skills required for the role include:
- Attention to details, analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Good team player
- Strong client orientation and work ethic
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Time management skills and the ability to prioritise workloads
- Excellent communication skills with a good command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Knowledge of Microsoft software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Chinese word processing
