Computershare Issuer Services (CIS) is the division within Computershare responsible for providing administrative services to clients and their individual security holders. The Client Support Officer works within the team and will be allocated specific tasks to support the delivery of all transactions and responses to client queries.

Are you passionate about customer service, being the face of a company, building strong relationships? If yes, we have a career expanding opportunity for you as an integral role in our New Zealand team.

Reporting to the Client Support Manager, you will be responsible for managing relationships between our Relationship Managers, internal teams, our external clients and service providers. This role will have a mix of front office contact with listed and unlisted clients as well as working collaboratively with internal teams to achieve all daily client activities and operational tasks.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure that the client service is consistently delivered within service level agreements, whilst maintaining quality and consistently performing tasks at a high-level
  • Responding promptly to client enquiries through various forms of communication such as phone/video calls, emails, or any other written correspondence
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver a better service to the clients and build strong relationships
  • Keeping up-to-date with current business activities to enhance your knowledge and understanding of the industry
  • Identifying and assessing risk factors related to a particular situation or activity

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills when dealing with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong computer literacy - ability to work on different systems quickly and accurately
  • Highly developed organisation skills, time management and attention to detail
  • A positive attitude and logical approach to work
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility for assigned tasks
  • A desire to learn and be challenged
