An exciting opportunity exists to join the Global Core Operations team as a Business Systems Analyst on a 12-month secondment. This role offers the chance to be part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment that's ideal for business-facing technical professionals looking to deepen their expertise and take the next step in their IT career. You'll work at the intersection of business and technology, contributing to critical operational systems while gaining exposure to a global organization known for innovation and excellence.
A role you will love
In this role, you'll work closely with various Technology and Business teams, applying core ITIL principles across Change, Release, Incident, and Problem Management. You'll also play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of new services and applications into the production environment.
As the Business System Analyst, you will be responsible for day-to-day support, system upgrades, new functionality, and projects relating to the systems they look after. Systems include and are not limited to:
Operations Technology (Contact, DSS, EDC, Workflow), Middleware (Cosmos Company, Cosmos Investor), Telephony (Avaya CM, Avaya CMS, MS Exchange, IVR Control System, Genesys, Prompt Management), Investor Centre, WinForms
Key Responsibilities of this role include:
- Configuration and support of core Business facing applications
- Conducting user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Implementation of system functionality including performing demonstrations and training
- Completion of documentation, including requirements documentation and user manuals
- Providing assistance in scoping new functionality and on boarding various business lines
- Recommending and implementing continuous business process and application improvement
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders across all business units and levels
What will you bring to the role?
This role is well suited to an individual that ensures appropriate communication has been delivered to the business and relevant manager(s) in relation to all aspects of the relevant systems. Demonstratable experience liaising with the relevant Technology and Business departments including the Development/Deployment, Infrastructure, Server, and Database Administration teams.
Key skills required include:
