Location: Toronto - University Ave office (Hybrid)

This role is a hybrid position and can be based in any of our Canada office locations, with the option to work remotely for some of your working week. If you're currently in a fully remote role and are not within a commutable distance to a Computershare office, you're eligible to apply and maintain your remote working arrangement should you be the most suitable candidate for the position.

The ARM is responsible for providing support to the Director and the RMs in servicing the RPTS clients. Ensuring that the day-to-day obligations are met and that queries are responded to accurately and within agreed timeframes.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assist the Director and RMs to maintain relationships with key personnel of clients ensuring retention, satisfaction and profitability of existing clients.
  • Work closely with clients on intervention and escalated items to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Help resolve client issues by working with other units within Corporate Trust or other departments within the company.
  • Works either independently or with RMs to ensure proper follow-through of client requests.
  • Assists with overdue receivables collection.
  • Assists with creating internal and external documentation such as operating procedures, client notices, fee proposals and other types of documents.
  • Drafts professional correspondence to clients and industry partners.
  • Communicates professionally verbally and in writing.

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from college or university; or three to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Familiar with securities legislation
  • A strong understanding of registered plans;
  • Bilingual (English/French) would be an asset • 3-5 years in an office setting, legal or financial experience preferred
  • Intermediate level competence in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
