We are now looking for an experienced talent to join our Share Plan Solution Team in Shanghai. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a global corporation that will give you fantastic exposure to the dynamic and fast-growing businesses in Asia.

The Assistant Manager is primarily responsible for handling regular projects and majority of routine internal and external client communications. This role will also assist manager with more complex projects, therefore beginning to gain more experience in providing professional SAFE and Tax services.

Some other key accountabilities will include:

  • Carry out China SAFE ("State Administration of Foreign Exchange") / SAT ("State Administration of Tax") services delivery in relation to employee share incentive plan in a timely manner and with accuracy, namely
    • Preparation of registration / filing documents.
    • Communication with SAFE / Tax authorities to clarify regulation updates, local filing requirements and related operational practice requirements if applicable.
    • Client communications (routine and ad-hoc tasks in daily works), attend client meeting with direct reporting manager if needed.
    • SAFE and Tax regulation update monitoring - closely monitor SAFE regulation updates from daily SAFE registration practice and interaction with SAFE officials.
  • Follow direct reporting manager's instruction with updating procedure documents and checklists, ensure related documentation is updated on a timely basis.
  • Assist with other team member to prepare internal / external documentations if required.
  • Follow direct reporting manager's instruction to provide necessary support if needed.

What will you bring to the role?

To be successful in this role you will have good learning and communication skills, pay attention to details and be efficient. Also, you will have exceptional relationship building and interpersonal skills.

Some other key skills required for the role:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or closely related areas.
  • At least 4-5 years of relevant professional working experiences (share plan management, PRC Individual income tax related work of big 4 firm is preferred).
  • Excellent English and Mandarin required with Cantonese an advantage.
  • Customer focused, strong problem-solving skills and well-developed commercial acumen.
  • Demonstrate initiative, organizational and time management skills.
  • Adapts to change, is open to new ideas, takes on new responsibilities, handles pressure, and adjusts plans to meet changing needs.
  • Proficiency in MS Office. Some travel may be required.
