As an Analytic Consultant II, you will be the Power BI team lead, creating reporting and dashboard solutions while working with business partners to confirm, validate, and enhance the solutions developed.

Some of your key responsibilities may include:

  • Creating and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports to track volume collection of work completion, SLAs, timeliness, accuracy, etc...
  • Migrating dashboards and reports from Tableau to Power BI
  • Creating and maintaining business intelligence tools to track volume collection of work completion, SLAs, timeliness, accuracy, etc...
  • Works with users to gather business requirements and analytical needs.
  • Identify and recommending potential data sources; compiling and mining data from multiple, cross business sources.
  • Developing specific, customized reports, ad hoc analyses and/or data visualizations.
  • Collaborating with senior analysts and consultants or directly with partners to identify and define business requirements and translating business needs into moderately complex reports and/or recommendations.
  • Briefing solutions to business partners that demonstrate statistical proofs driving recommendations to maximize revenue, minimize cost, increase operational efficiency, and maintain regulatory and organizational compliance.
  • Ensuring adherence to data management/data governance regulations and policies.

What will you bring to the role?

As you've probably gathered by now, we are looking for somebody with a real passion for analytics and data preservation and will have the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to achieve success.

Other key skills required for the role include:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, or analytics demonstrated through work or military experience or a Masters degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working in Power BI, with a proven track record of delivering reporting solutions.
  • Experience working with SQL, MS Access, and MS Excel while demonstrating standard reporting strategies.
  • General knowledge of asset backed instruments and markets, including but not limited to residential mortgages and the mortgage-backed securities market.
  • Ability to quickly and clearly communicate with and provide updates to key stakeholders on current initiatives and assignments.

Other key skills preferred for the role include:

  • Experience working with various business intelligence tools including: Tableau, Business Objects, QlikView or Qlik Sense
  • Experience with the design, scheduling, and automation of reporting solutions.
  • Ability to perform statistical and performance analytics in R, Python or similar tools.
