The nature of the position is that of a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

The Specialised Services Unit is the division within Computershare responsible for providing administrative services, requesting payments on outstanding dividends internally and externally, as well as Richemont WHT Claims. The Specialised Services Administrator role operates within this division at a local level and must deliver within strict customer and client service delivery guidelines. The guidelines include successful delivery within agreed timeframes and quality standards.
A role you will love
The Specialised Services Administrator is responsible for the daily production and to ensure that payments i.e Local and abroad as well as responses are accurately and within the agreed timelines. Dealing with the Richemont WHT claims. Responsible for contributing to shareholder and client satisfaction by maintaining an accurate scrip database and executing all legal instructions according to documented policies and procedures.
To achieve required service standards through timely and effective and client satisfaction, mainting client base.
Some key responsibilities
- Process all current and unclaimed dividends via Adhoc EFT requests accurately and timeously with the specific timeframe as per the agreed SLA.
- Processing payments for Exchanges, Plan Managers and Corporate Actions via Adhoc EFT accurately and timeously with the specific timeframe as per the agreed SLA.
- Preparing swift payment requests to the bank for dividend payments.
- Prepare and email claim letters to the issuers for unclaimed dividends who administer their own dividend reconciliations.
- Preparing of Adhoc EFT spreadsheet, payment advice slips and breakdown of dividends.
- Running macros - to consolidate all dividend replacements and add notings on Scrip for record purposes.
- Classification and approval of Adhoc EFT payments on Workflow
- Process daily work on workflow, includes email bucket queries and outstanding dividend reports.
- Investigate and attend to all action Line Complaints, dealt with in 48 hours turnaround time.
