Georgeson's unclaimed property services cover the unclaimed property lifecycle, relieving organizations of these complex and resource intensive tasks. The Asset Reunification division within Georgeson is responsible for providing PostMerger CleanUp, Shareholder CleanUp, Unclaimed Asset Program, and other solutions to Issuer Services clients and their shareholders.
The Account Executive role operates within this division at a local level and must deliver an expert level of client service according to specific business goals and objectives
A role you will love
The Account Executive is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of expert level client service to Asset Reunification clients and their shareholders, ensuring the efficient and profitable management of their Asset Reunification programs (the "Programs").
The Account Executive works closely with internal stakeholders, including Relationship Management, Global Core Operations, CCS, and CTS and external stakeholders, including Issuer clients and transfer agents external to Computershare, ensuring the Programs' success.
Additionally, the Account Executive will support efforts to gain new business by acting as a subject matter expert for the Sales team, and in advising the Relationship Management team on how to pursue cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage Programs by disseminating accurate and complete information, by developing strategies to ensure financial success, by communicating Program status and progress to stakeholders, by monitoring progress and making strategic adjustments to ensure the Programs stay on track.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex day-to-day issues and direct them to appropriate resources to ensure a timely and correct resolution is reached.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with Issuer clients, Computershare Relationship Managers, and other internal stakeholders to drive business growth.
- Forecast future financial results from active Programs to identify shortfalls, help guide strategic plans for future financial periods and ensure cost efficiency.
- Use knowledge of Georgeson/Computershare, of Issuer Services global business and of best practices and client needs to lead the development of process improvements.
- Support sales efforts by authoring Program literature and sales collateral, acting as a subject matter export to achieve and exceed sales forecasts and targets.
What will you bring to the role
- A Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of US Equity Markets, Stock Transfer and/or experience in Stakeholder Management and/or Project Management
- Expert understanding of work routines and procedures used to manage projects within the GAR division.
- In-depth understanding of how the wider team works together to successfully achieve the division's and the wider Issuer Services' goals and objectives. Understand external competitor products and services to support cross-sell and upsell opportunities and to improve the client experience.
- Rigid attention to detail and the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Possess masterful communication skills to be able to provide clear verbal and/or written communications in response to Issuer client queries, have the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals, to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and occasionally the public.

Compensation. The base pay range for this role is $68,000 - $80,000/yearly. This base pay range is specific to Jersey City NJ and may not be applicable to other locations.
