Location: St. Paul, MN (Hybrid)

A role you will love

As an Account Associate II on the Disbursements Team, you will evaluate and approve money movements associated with client and Line of Business disbursement requests. You will complete final compliance reviews and confirm payment instructions for propriety and adherence to established controls, procedures and regulatory requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, banking, stock/bonds production, financial operations and/or in lieu of military experience
  • Previous experience working in Trust, legal, corporate finance or other applicable financial service industries
  • Ability to interpret and comprehend complex legal documents
  • Attention to detail and some evaluative judgment based on best practice and previous experience
  • The role holder needs the ability to follow documented procedures closely and appropriately escalate unique scenarios
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills that can be shared with all levels of professionals, executives, and co-workers

As a process-driven individual, you will be the guiding hand as we deliver accurate and timely transactions to Corporate Trust accounts.

Some of your key responsibilities may include:

  • Review deal governing documents to ensure the disbursement is permitted.
  • Compare the payment instructions against either the client or document direction to ensure all payment details are correctly entered.
  • If applicable, validate any letters of direction received were signed by an authorized individual.
  • If required, execute the verification in accordance to the client's Security Procedure Agreement to ensure that payment instruction is authorized.
  • Ability to follow documented procedures closely and appropriately escalate unique scenarios.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to provide clear verbal and/or written communications in response to client inquiries. Must be able to work closely with the team and be flexible and collaborative.
  • Review the disbursement tax treatment to ensure proper coding.
  • Document and communicate any issues or errors to the line of business to ensure payment is correct prior to release.

Compensation. The typical base pay range for this role is $41552 - $54000. This base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations
