All Application Solution Developer (ASD) in the CCT End User Computing Group collaborate and provide best in class service to our internal CCT business partners by leveraging common practices where possible and custom where it counts through controlled systematic solutions. The Application Solution Developer 1 acts as a liaison between the business and EUC teams to interpret the stated business issues and propose possible solutions based on their knowledge of prior solutions. Based on business needs the ASD 1 will enhance solutions for line of business needs and provide support for internal infrastructure needs. ASD1s will seek direction to ensure development is in keeping with the larger philosophy of the team and goals of CCT. ASD1s will stay properly current on their knowledge and training of development languages and options available to the team and will be expected to execute when a development application path has been chosen. In the pursuit of the proper solution path the ASD1 will attend trainings to learn more about internal teams within CCT and CPU in an effort to further business knowledge. ASDs recommend application development and enhancement solutions that are cost effective and meet business requirements. Writing technical specifications to develop code while verifying program logic through testing and debugging of programs is where ASD's control risk and quality while improving efficiency.

Some of your key responsibilities may include:

Four-year degree in Finance, Math, Computer Science or other analytical discipline • Masters or other graduate level work in an analytical discipline • Experience with Python, C# or other development languages. • Knowledge of one or more of the following asset classes: Domestic and International RMBS, CMBS, and CLO; State and Local Municipal housing agencies; Municipal & Corporate Debt; Lease; ABS Student Loans • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

  • Provide technical assistance in identifying and evaluating systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements
    • Develop end user computing solutions in a timely manner as specified by project manager or client specifications
      • Ensure adherence to EUC policies for development and development process management.
      • Actively participate in utilizing, updating, and influencing EUC guidelines and standards
      • Ensure implementation of all EUC initiatives.
      • Conduct rollout, documentation, and training of system enhancements to allow team members to fully realize benefits
      • Ensure BCP practices by understanding all assigned secondary support applications
      • Driving the implementation of new technology and work methods. Identifying new strategies and ideas to fulfill current business goals
      • Provide guidance and be a primary resource for your immediate team and internal business partner

What will you bring to the role?

Essential

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience.
  • Extensive programming experience in MS Access, VBA and SQL.
  • 2+ Years of experience in database development

Preferred

  • Four-year degree in Finance, Math, Computer Science or other analytical discipline
  • Experience with Python, C# or other development languages.
  • Experience with Microsoft tools including Power Apps, SSIS, and SSRS
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following asset classes: Domestic and International RMBS, CMBS, and CLO; State and Local Municipal housing agencies; Municipal & Corporate Debt; Lease; ABS Student Loans• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

Compensation. The typical base pay range for this role is $76,808 - $115,212 USD
