We are seeking a highly motivated Director of Sales Operations that will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our sales team. This role is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the sales operations and processes, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SaaS sales, strong communication skills, and a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Reporting to the VP, Revenue Operations, you will have a player coach role, leading a team of Sales Operations professionals and executing as a principal individual contributor. As a key member of the Revenue Operations Leadership team at COMPLY, you will have the opportunity to drive cross-functional alignment with GTM executives and stakeholders while executing strategic initiatives that impact the company's revenue.

What you'll do:

Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute sales strategies and plans that align with company goals.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.

Sales Analytics and Reporting:

  • Develop and maintain sales analytics, standard reporting, and dashboard in centralized systems to provide insights into sales performance.
  • Create dashboards and reports for sales teams to track key metrics and KPIs.
  • Pipeline Management and Sales Forecasting:
  • Oversee pipeline review meetings & ensure accountability.
  • Participate in Sales Forecast calls to increase predictability.
  • Work closely with finance to understand sales forecasts.
  • Monitor and adjust sales plans as needed to meet or exceed targets.

Territory Design & Execution:

  • Develop and implement strategic territory plans that align with the company's sales objectives and revenue targets.
  • Define and assign sales territories to sales teams or representatives based on market potential, customer segmentation, and workload.
  • Determine the appropriate sales coverage model for each territory, considering factors like account density, sales cycle length, and customer needs.

Sales Process Optimization:

  • Review and optimize sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the Systems & Process team to implement best practices and tools to streamline lead generation, qualification, and conversion.

Sales Technology Stack:

  • Evaluate, select, and implement sales technology tools (Data vendors, sales automation, etc.) to enhance sales operations.
  • Partner with Sales Enablement to ensure the sales team is proficient in using these tools to maximize productivity.

People Management & Development:

  • Build and lead a high-performing sales operations team by recruiting, onboarding, and mentoring team members.
  • Provide clear direction, set performance expectations, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
  • Develop the skills and capabilities of the sales operations team through coaching, training, and professional development programs.
  • Identify and nurture talent within the team, creating opportunities for career growth.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Foster collaboration between sales, marketing, product development, and customer success teams to ensure alignment.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Enablement teams to design and deliver sales training programs.


Who we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 3-5 years experience in sales operations or a similar role in the SaaS industry.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring and directly managing a high performing team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
  • Inspiring people leader and team management skills.
  • Skilled project manager and ability to drive projects to fruition.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales technology tools.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The compensation range for this role is specific to the United States and takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, training, licensure and certification, and experience. A reasonable estimate of the base salary for this role would be $125,000-$150,000 plus applicable variable components/benefits offerings, etc. as those similarly situated within the Company.
