The Chief of Staff to the CEO will play a critical role in helping the company achieve its mission. As the Chief of Staff to the CEO, you are a strategic thinker and project manager who is passionate about solving the most important business and organizational problems. In this role, you must work collaboratively alongside the CEO and the entire senior leadership team to drive business initiatives forward. You will be required to move fast, dream big and be highly organized to juggle competing priorities while maintaining an extremely high quality output.

This role spans strategic planning, execution, analysis, communications, change management, operational excellence, senior level influence, stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and special project management of top company initiatives.

Please note: this role is 100% in-office based in our office in NY (110 5th Ave).

In This Role You Will

  • Work alongside the CEO to help him achieve a highly efficient operating cadence, creating a process/system of accountability and follow up

  • Work cross functionally to lead projects and initiatives forward as the key person driving them. These will include initiatives across all areas of the business at Compass 

  • Drive multiple complex decisions and workstreams forward on a regular basis. 

  • Handle meetings with agents and employees to determine needs, asks and guidance

  • Be present in meetings on the CEOs behalf to capture key insights

  • Organize all key projects and items and work alongside the CEO to determine best uses of his time and where to prioritize

  • Spending time within the organization to determine the pulse of things and identify net new opportunities for him to create impact

What We’re Looking For

  • 10 years of work experience preferred, and ideally experience working in a fast paced environment or one with a high level of rigor (eg. management consulting)

  • Someone who can build trust and create consensus among leaders in different functions in order to move things forward with alignment

  • Being able to take something at this vision & concept level and bring it forward so it’s sustainably operating

  • Someone skilled at navigating through ambiguity, change, and uncertainty while seeing around corners and highlighting risks and solutions to consider

  • Someone who presentable, professional and comfortable in any meeting or setting and can make those they are engaging with feel heard

  • This person should be excited to learn more about the company and how our business works with an eye towards a leadership role in the future

  • Ideally this person worked in an agent facing role and can speak the language of agents

Compensation: 

The base pay range for this position is $135,000 - $176,900 base salary; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonuses and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits. Base pay is based on market location. Minimum wage for the position will always be met.
