  • To trouble shoot mechanical and cosmetical issues to come to most practical and satisfying solution
  • To fix mechanical and cosmetical (+ on times electrical) problems most efficiently
Level of Work
  • Supporting the Collins Interiors products at Airbus from incoming till delivery of the aircrafts
  • Using applicable drawings and tools to troubleshoot problems
  • Plan, execute and check your own work and if necessary the plan and check the work of contractors
  • Use of measuring equipment
  • Crimping of electrical contacts
  • Routing harness per applicable drawings
  • Responsible for the quality of their own work also if necessary and advised by Teamleader the work of contractors
  • Responsible for ensuring correct tools are used to perform tasks
  • Responsible for reporting damages/defects to Team leader
  • Ensuring that adequate information is available to complete the tasks
  • Abide by all Health and Safety / Security rules at Airbus Final Assembly Line and warehouse
  • Requesting advice from supervision when unsure of their task of the required quality levels
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is correct and completed for works carried
  • Responsible for ensuring all systems are updated and reflect current status against daily work plan (JIRA, Airbus NC

  • Mechanical / Mechatronical Engineering Apprenticeship or another relevant manufacturing / engineering discipline (or relevant experience)


  • Experience of working with all assembly associated hand tools.
  • Ideally experience in the aviation business (FAL or similar).
  • Obtain advice from Supervisor / Management Team when unsure of their task, or the required quality levels.
  • Maintain good working relationships with others
  • Maintaining the traceability of all components through the works order process structure
  • Must demonstrate a good understanding of safe working practices.
LOCAL INFORMATION

  • This role reports to - Station Leader and Team Leader
  • Travel requirement - 0-10%
  • Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm and late shift 1pm to 10pm every 3-6 weeks. Weekend (Saturday / Sunday 7am to 4pm)
