- Create and maintain material master database in SAP.
- Plan material order stream based on forecast and historical consumption through APO and SIOP process
- Liaison with suppliers on material availability, ordering lead time, ship date, quality issue, and return delivery.
- Sourcing from surplus market for material which is short in supply or not available thru OEM.
- Prepare purchase orders of material in SAP and SITATEX/STXOnline.
- Managing open orders, which includes expediting, pulling in, and pushing out purchase orders to ensure optimum stock of material in house.
- Liaison with freight forwarder to resolve any logistic issue related to custom hold, late delivery, shipping documentation, return delivery, etc.
- Provide estimate delivery update for shortages parts to operation on daily basis.
- Manage inventory level within financial target while maintaining 100% parts availability.
- Provide support to Supply Chain Manager in term of reporting and decision making.
- To work on other related assigned task as and when needed
- Comply with all US and Malaysia Export Control Regulations
- Participate and contribute in all ACE event and activities.
- Participate in EH&S Program and Obey EH&S Rules and Procedures
- Comply with UTC Code of Ethics and complete all assigned Ethic trainings
- Provide assistant and support to team members and to all other functional groups
