The Employee Experience team focuses on programs that define and drive our unique Coinbase culture. We accomplish this by creating meaningful ways to connect, collaborate, and celebrate at Coinbase, developing a best in class experience for our employees.
As a Senior Program Manager, Operational Excellence, you'll improve both remote and in-person work experiences by leading process improvement initiatives across the Employee Experience team, helping the team to do more with less. You'll focus on creating and implementing efficient workflows and solutions that enhance operational effectiveness, increasing the team's capacity to deliver high-quality, impactful, bespoke experiences. You will focus on optimizing internal processes, supporting data analysis, and creating tools or solutions to automate actions wherever possible. Success in the role will include decreasing time tax for thousands of employees with effective implementation and uptake of key programs.
What You'll Be Doing (i.e., Job Duties):
- Project Management:
- Lead and manage day-to-day operations of projects within the team's portfolio.
- Develop detailed project plans, set milestones, and ensure program integrity.
- Standardize tools for project management, including SOP templates and process maps, to achieve repeatable success.
- Identify needs and create solutions:
- Design solutions for process improvements and tool development, focusing on long-term sustainability and scalability.
- Analyze and evaluate emerging challenges and opportunities, aiming for further optimization.
- Stakeholder management:
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to align project objectives and secure buy-in, while balancing diverse goals.
- Work closely with People Analytics to define a measurement strategy, track key metrics, and use insights for program enhancement.
- Act as a bridge between Employee Experience and HR Tech teams, translating needs into technical specifications to ensure solutions meet objectives.
- Training and support:
- Train the EX Ops team on new solutions, ensuring understanding and successful adoption.
- Lead change management and educational initiatives, creating guides and toolkits to support engagement with EX programs.
What We Look For In You (i.e., Job Requirements):
- Minimum of 7+ of experience in HR or People project management, developing and executing operationally rigorous programs in a fast paced environment.
- A proven track record in managing company wide projects with global stakeholders.
- 7+ years experience in process improvement, operational efficiency at scale, and delivering results with clear success metrics.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Strong capability in building and maintaining cross-functional relationships.
- Excellent written communication skills, adaptable to different audiences.
- Customer-centric approach and adept at navigating through ambiguity.
- Highly organized, able to manage detailed tasks along with big-picture strategy.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with HR transformation and consultation
- PMP or equivalent project management certification.
- Experience working across distributed offices and countries.
- Proficiency in developing tools within Google Workspace.
- Background in people program development in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with project management tools like Asana, Jira, and Lucidchart.
