Who We're Looking For - Medicare Training Specialist

As a Medicare Training Specialist, you will facilitate training sessions for our sales agents, equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary to sell Medicare products effectively. This position is ideal for a candidate looking to grow within Clearlink and is passionate about helping others learn and succeed. With a perfect balance of Medicare knowledge and sales experience, you have the opportunity to make a first-hand impact on our Licensed Medicare Agents.

The Impact You Will Make -

  • Facilitate Training Sessions:
    • Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions for groups of 20 sales agents on Medicare products, sales techniques, compliance regulations, and any other relevant topics.
    • Utilize various training methods, such as presentations, role-plays, case studies, and group discussions, to enhance learning and engagement.
    • Create and deliver training materials, including presentations, handouts, and job aids, to support the training sessions.

  • Collaborate with the Training Manager and subject matter experts to develop a comprehensive training curriculum for new and existing sales agents.
  • Stay updated on changes in the Medicare industry, including policy updates and market trends, and incorporate relevant information into the training curriculum.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance the training materials and curriculum to ensure they remain current and effective.
  • Provide Individual Coaching and Support:
    • Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions with sales agents to provide personalized feedback, address performance gaps, and offer guidance for improvement.
    • Assist sales agents in developing effective sales strategies, objection handling techniques, and customer-centric approaches.
    • Offer ongoing support to sales agents by answering their questions, providing resources, and addressing any concerns or challenges they may encounter.
  • Monitor and Evaluate Performance:
    • Track the progress and performance of sales agents during and after training sessions to assess their comprehension and application of the training material.
    • Provide performance feedback to sales agents and their managers, highlighting areas of strength and areas that require improvement.
    • Collaborate with sales managers to identify training needs and develop targeted training interventions to address specific performance gaps.

    What You Bring -

    • At least 3-5 years of experience in Medicare sales or a related field.
    • Must have active Life & Health Insurance license
    • Proven experience in delivering training sessions and facilitating group discussions.
    • In-depth knowledge of Medicare products, sales techniques, compliance regulations, and industry trends.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
