Job Description

Position Summary:

The Administrative Support Unit (ASU) is responsible for office management within the Department of Aviation. We perform a variety of supportive activities to maintain a high performing workplace for our co-workers. ASU interns are delegated a combination of tasks to be completed individually or on a team.

Essential Functions:

  • Completing projects to support the unit
  • Providing general front desk reception
  • Assisting with maintenance of office supply inventories
  • Prepping mail items for deliveries and shipments
  • Providing administrative support throughout the organization wherever and whenever needed

Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Skills and Abilities:

  • Basic Microsoft Office Suite knowledge
  • Basic typing skills
  • Must provide exceptional customer service

Work-Life:

Full-time, In-person; Monday – Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Qualifications

  • High School Junior or Senior.
  • Latest transcript required.
  • Must pass and maintain SIDA (Security Identification Display Area) and if applicable, AOA (Airfield Operations Area) clearance.
  • Applicants aged 18 years and older must complete a medical assessment, including a drug test.
