Senior Accountant - Intercompany and Consolidations

What you’ll be responsible for:

Circle is looking for an exceptional Senior Accountant who will be a member of the consolidation team to support close package development, tracking and reporting of intercompany activity and chart of accounts management and design.

What you'll work on:

  • Supporting production of  the monthly and quarterly financial reporting package to be sent to stakeholders across the organization in a timely manner.
  • Track and report on all intercompany activity and FX related impacts for financial reporting, board and capital management purposes.
  • Ensure consolidation and elimination entries are reflected in a complete and accurate manner.
  • Identifying process improvements and efficiencies for the close ensuring changes are implemented timely.
  • Support the design, management and maintenance of the global chart of accounts and legal entity structures in ERP.
  • Assist on other special projects as required including ERP and associated finance system implementations.

What you’ll bring to Circle:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
  • Big 4 or large regional firm experience preferred.
  • Highly proficient in advanced excel functions.
  • Understanding of the digital assets or FinTech industry is preferred.
  • Organized, detailed, proactive, self-motivated, collaborative, multi-tasker, and creative.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment is extremely important.
  • Ability to prioritize workloads and ensure tasks are completed timely.
  • High integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Experience with finance system implementations or integrations highly sought after.
  • Experience/familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS and GSuite.

Starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to: relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note that compensation ranges may differ for candidates in other locations.

Base Pay Range: $102,500 - $137,500

Annual Bonus Target: 12.5%

Also Included: Equity & Benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)). Circle has a discretionary vacation policy. We also provide 10 days of paid sick leave per year and 11 paid holidays per year in the U.S.
