Role Summary:

The Operations Training Specialist, Experience & Engagement is responsible for improving our guest and team member satisfaction by supporting the creation and implementation of training and recognition programs that support Cinemark's operational objectives and standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Research best practices and trends for employee recognition and engagement across different industries and sectors.
  • Oversee development and execution of team member and manager recognition programs.
  • Oversee development and implementation of theatre recognition programs.
  • Provide and manage feedback, along with suggestions, to improve theatre team morale and retention. • Create initiatives to boost morale and engagement in the field.
  • Continuously assess the effectiveness of engagement initiatives in the field.
  • Regularly gather feedback and suggestions from the field to understand their needs, concerns, and levels of engagement.
  • Identify opportunities and create new initiatives centered around enhancing guest experience and engagement.
  • Maintain records of training activities and track the progress of team members through various training programs.
  • Support guest insight programs and ensure alignment with operational goals.
  • Assist with development and implementation of training strategy based on guest experience expectations and feedback.
  • Partner with the Field Communication team on field training related communications.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders regarding guest and team member engagement needs.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of theatre management experience or 4 years' experience in theatre support preferred.
  • Provided training support for 1 - 3 years in a multi-unit organization preferred.
  • Coordinated with managers and trainers to ensure effective and consistent training across units preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with basic project management techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to create positive partnerships across various levels of the organization.
  • Experience documenting procedures, creating job aids, developing training content preferred.
  • Experience facilitating group training sessions (in-person/virtual) preferred.
  • Good problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Early adopter of new processes, tools and system and ability to teach others.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to follow processes and standards yet also identify opportunities and recommend creative innovations to appropriate parties.
