Role Summary:
The Facilities Services Project Manager is responsible for managing and supporting construction trade service requests across all domestic Cinemark theatres. This role serves as a strategic liaison between theatre operations and service vendors, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality facilities maintenance and improvements. The Project Manager exercises decision-making authority in managing budgets, vendor relationships, and operational priorities.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for construction trade service requests via ServiceChannel, email, and phone.
- Prioritize and manage service requests based on urgency, cost, and operational impact.
- Oversee vendor performance, service costs, and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Analyze key performance indicators to ensure timely and budget-conscious completion of work.
- Review and approve repair proposals, work orders, and invoices daily.
- Participate in emergency on-call rotation (approximately 5 weeks per year)
- Represent the Facilities team in communications with theatre management and external vendors.
- Develop scopes of work, manage budgets, solicit bids, negotiate contracts, and oversee execution of operational and capital improvement projects.
- Conduct periodic site inspections for major capital projects (1-5 trips annually).
- Identify, vet, onboard, and manage service vendors to ensure quality and reliability.
- Use data analytics to identify trends, optimize processes, and implement best practices.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Sourcing, Legal, Real Estate, Operations, and Accounting.

Requirements:
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision.
- Strong project management experience, preferably in facilities or construction.
- Facilities maintenance/construction experience and/or theater operation knowledge is an asset
- Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in vendor selection, budgeting, and emergency response.
- In-depth knowledge of trade-specific pricing and facilities maintenance best practices.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, formulas such as VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
- Experience with web-based software applications; ServiceChannel experience preferred.
- Ability to climb ladders and access rooftop areas as needed.
- Travel required: 1-5 trips per year, approximately 2 days each.
