Summary:
Under the supervision of the Medical Director, and/or Director of School Base, the SBHC LPN has the responsibility and accountability for assessing patient/family health problems and resources, implementation of the nursing plan of care provided by the NP. Providing technical nursing care and interventions to a designated patient populations. Per the Departments Scope of Practice, this position requires providing services to Pediatric and Adolescent Patients, ages four to 20 years of age in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individuals served. This position requires that the individual be able to work under the direct supervision of an RN or NP on site. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of CHRISTUS Health Central Louisiana. It is expected that the associate demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The associate shall support the CHRISTUS Health Central Louisiana’s strategic plan and the goals and direction of their Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).
Requirements:
- Basic Computer Knowledge
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written.
- Successful completion of LVN / LPN training.
- Two-Four years of Pediatric experience preferred.
- Current Louisiana LPN License
- Current BLS Card

5 Days - 8 Hours
