Overview

This Supply Chain role is primarily responsible for supporting and monitoring Chick-fil-A's food safety and quality programs for perishable food products supplied to our Restaurants. Responsibilities include maintenance of Supplier monitoring and documentation systems used in Supplier performance management. Provides technical assistance to both Restaurant Operators and internal stakeholders concerning Food Safety and Quality issues.

This position is based out of the Chick-fil-A Support Center Office in Atlanta, GA.

  • Review product related data for actionable insights aimed to prevent or resolve product quality and safety issues: product specifications, store and customer complaint data, product cutting results
  • Build strong, collaborative working relationships within Perishables and Supplier Quality & Safety
  • Administer data quality continuous improvement projects
  • Develop and champion internal processes and standardization; share best practices
  • Work with Restaurants and Suppliers as needed regarding specific product issues, e.g. shelf life extensions and product withdrawals
  • Develop product knowledge that influences and informs decision making
  • Prepare reports that summarize Supplier performance


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 years work experience
  • Food industry experience in food safety and/or food quality
  • Strong organization and data analysis skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to a dynamic, fast-paced supply landscape
  • Builds strong relationships internally and externally
  • High level of autonomy
