Sr. Insights Analyst, Restaurant Pricing

Overview

As a Senior Regional Pricing Analyst on the Restaurant Pricing team, you will help support the pricing strategy utilized in Chick-fil-A restaurants. In this role, you will work with the Restaurant pricing team and other professionals across the business to analyze and implement complex pricing solutions relevant to our Customers and Restaurant Operators. T he right candidate for this role will enjoy collaborating with others, executing detailed pricing implementations, analyzing data to generate insights, and researching issues and solutions. This role requires a highly responsible person, who loves to interact with others and is comfortable presenting to large groups.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to local Chick-fil-A markets to understand unique challenges facing Operators and determine how pricing should or should not play a role in addressing these challenges
  • Present pricing strategy to small and large groups
  • Partner cross functionally to develop in-field customer focus groups
  • Partner cross functionally to design and evaluate pricing tests with utilization of test analysis software
  • Respond to pricing inquiries from Chick-fil-A Operators and Restaurant leaders
  • Analyze quantitative data and qualitative research to better understand costs, competitors and customers to inform and enhance pricing strategies
  • Create visualizations that turn customer research and data into clear and valuable insights
  • Influence new and innovative ways to solve current business and technical challenges
  • Support the team with pricing implementation projects
  • Develop organized systems or processes to assist with pricing implementation


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Management or Finance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and emotional intelligence skills
  • Strong strategic thinking ability
  • Ability to build strong relationships across the organization
  • Ability to translate data into concise executive summaries and presentations
  • Self-starter who completes tasks on time and with minimal supervision
  • Embody a sense of curiosity and desire to always keep learning
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to learn things quickly and work independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience building dashboards using visualization software such as Tableau, Power BI or Domo


Preferred Qualifications

  • Specific experience working with pricing in retail or hospitality
  • Previous experience working in a large corporate environment
  • Experience with test and learn software such as APT
