Overview
As an Endpoint Engineer at Chick-fil-A, you will play a critical role in ensuring our Team Members can leverage mobile devices to serve thousands of guests daily at each of our restaurants! In this role, you will leverage mobile device management (MDM) platforms, such as Workspace One, to deploy, configure, secure, and manage the performance of Android devices critical to our in-store operations. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams in IT, Customer Technology, and Restaurant Support to ensure our Android devices remain reliable, up-to-date, and aligned with company standards. As a subject matter expert in MDM, you'll also be at the forefront of innovation at Chick-fil-A, collaborating with other Endpoint Engineers and technology teams to build highly integrated and scalable device management solutions across a large fleet of mobile devices. Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and improve mobile device management (MDM) platforms ensuring mobile devices at Chick-fil-A restaurants receive appropriate applications, resources, and policies.
- Partner with internal and external stake holders to deploy business applications and security updates to Restaurant devices.
- Monitor and report on health of managed mobile devices proactively remediating concerns as needed.
- Design and influence change management procedures that limit business disruption and improve user experience by limiting defects. Practice these procedures in all deliveries of new devices, applications, and policies.
- Leverage and collaborate with existing service providers to ensure new devices are provisioned according to specified standards.
- Partner with engineering teams to create and maintain integrations between MDM platforms and external systems to automate reporting, application deployment, and troubleshooting workflows.
- Leverage device management expertise and 3rd party vendor support services to troubleshoot complex issues acting as a final escalation point for all Restaurant managed endpoint issues.
- Author and maintain accurate system documentation for Restaurant MDM platforms.
- Proactively partner with Restaurant support teams to author knowledge base articles, train service desk agents, and ensure they are equipped to provide a high level of support for managed endpoints.
- Effectively communicate and share solutions and problems with team members as well as appropriate business users and stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
- Deep understanding of Android device management concepts including enrollment workflows, creation of custom configuration profiles, application deployment, and kiosking policies.
- 4+ years' experience deploying and managing Android devices on an enterprise scale
- 2+ years' experience managing Android devices leveraging the Workspace One MDM platform
- Exercise appropriate level of care when interacting with systems where actions could lead to severe business impact.
- Understanding of API concepts

- Effective at prioritizing and tracking large numbers of requests
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing Android kiosk devices in a retail setting
- Experience working on teams utilizing agile project management methodologies
