Restaurant Cash Management Analyst Summer 2026 Intern
Overview
The Restaurant Cash Management Team exists to empower Operators by making cash management simple. Our work includes providing cash management support to Operators, related Restaurant payment operations, as well as Corporate Cash Management functions.
As an Analyst Summer Intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to Chick-fil-A's growth through challenging and meaningful work. This role will focus on leveraging financial data to problem solve and complete analysis to support Restaurant Cash Management functions. Under the guidance of an intern coach, interns will build their personal leadership brand while gaining experience and developing key skills necessary for a successful career. This internship will provide hands-on work assignments, exposure to C-Level executives, and activities that connect to Chick-fil-A's unique culture.
Responsibilities
- Develop a general understanding of the restaurant's monthly cash cycle and a high-level overview of the accounting systems utilized for cash management
- Gain experience in using analytical tools for problem solving and cash management functions
- Translate data into actionable strategies
- Gain exposure to Restaurant Cash Management and Payroll Services analytical strategies that support the overall business
- Provide analytical perspective to special projects
- Interpret results and formulate recommendations on projects/team processes for continuous improvement
- Report on project outcomes to stakeholders across the organization
- Develop personally and professionally in a learning centered culture
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently enrolled junior or senior (must be returning to school Fall 2026)
- Experience managing time and resources to drive toward a goal
- High level of initiative and project management skills
- Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity and change in a dynamic business
- Proven capacity in building relationships within diverse organizational areas
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, V-Lookups, conditional formatting, etc)
- Advanced Presentation and Microsoft PowerPoint skills
- Receptive to learning various data analytics programs/software
- Experience with SQL, Tableau or Alteryx
Required Level of Education
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum GPA (4.0 Scale)
