Overview

The Digital Learning Team is responsible for the digital learning transformation at Chick-fil-A - redefining and modernizing learning approaches and how our audiences experience learning, accelerating individual and collective growth and development at Chick-fil-A and Field audiences.

As part of the Digital Learning Team the Learning Technology Principal Program Lead is a learning technology professional responsible for leading the charge to define the technology strategy and roadmap utilizing existing L&D and enterprise capabilities, and identifying the right new, complementary capabilities to close gaps and set CFA up for scale and flexibility. This role is responsible for strong collaboration, consulting, and partnership through understanding business, audience and learning objectives, and then applying this understanding with digital learning expertise to strategize, recommend, execute on, and own solutions. The Learning Technology Principal Program Lead partners with the Senior Learning Technology Program partner to consult to the shared learning strategy, technology architecture evolution considerations, the L&D Infrastructure, and the exploration and evaluation of emerging learning technologies to meet business and audience needs.

This position is based out of the Chick-fil-A Support Center Office in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as product owner for Staff, Field or shared learning and content management technology products and platforms
  • Operates with authority and autonomy, and understands when and how to escalate with diplomacy
  • Own and iterate the technology product and portfolio roadmaps, including features and functionality, integrations and onboarding/offboarding
  • Influence vendor roadmaps to serve CFA business and technology needs
  • Closely partner with DTT (Digital Transformation and Technology) to co-devise solutions, assess technology integration roadblocks and brainstorm practical workarounds or opportunities
  • Bring a point-of-view and thought leadership in the areas of Digital Learning methodologies, and learning platforms/products to cross-departmental teams and partnerships
  • Build and maintain a relevant knowledge base and understanding of the business and L&D Workstream Audiences
  • Lead with influence subject matter experts, design, development and production teams, providing direction and alignment, formulating objectives and requirements, and mobilizing shared accountability and action on dependencies and deliverables
  • Actively contribute unique ideas and expertise, through collaboration and application of business acumen, to determine how to best utilize digital products and solutions to create great learning experiences that meet defined objectives
  • Ensure the utilization of digital learning solutions align to the organizational and departmental digital strategy, department objectives and focus areas and audience and content needs
  • Understand current learning technology capabilities, monitor the digital learning environment and partner with Sr. Principal Team Leader (i.e., Digital Product Lead) to identify emerging technology opportunities (e.g. mobile, virtual reality/augmented reality, blended learning, apps, gamification) to build a robust digital learning ecosystem of aligned and integrated solutions
  • Partner with audience leads across L&D and the Digital Learning team to continuously monitor and evaluate the value of systems, platforms, vendors, agencies, and contingent workers
  • Collaborate with and contribute to digital strategies and learner experiences in other areas of the business (i.e., DTT)
  • Develop communications including written communications and presentations for a wide range of stakeholders to drive acceptance and adoption of new digital learning technologies
  • Analyze and report on the effectiveness of utilized solutions using defined measures
  • Steward the budget tied to his/her team to meet goals
  • Responsible for coaching, consulting, and training needs of modern technology. This includes: L&D Staff, Operators, Team Members, CFA Support Center Staff, and any external parties


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 8+ years related experience within program management and/or product development or ownership functions
  • Demonstrate and share a passion for digital learning in a collaborative environment
  • Experience of IT development process, AGILE methodology, change management processes, project lifecycle, and business to technology translations and communications
  • Proven ability to think strategically while delivering practical solutions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to facilitate, lead projects, and lead teams through influence
