The Corporate Communications and External Affairs (CCEA) department has a mission to educate, equip and engage key stakeholders to build goodwill, earn and expand the right to do business, and have a positive impact in communities around the world. To support this, the Enabling Services & Operations team "Stewards Chick-fil-A's collective voice through our network of channels."
The Corporate Communications Content Manager is responsible for managing content across all internal communications channels, primarily focused on our company intranet (@Chick-fil-A) but also supporting content in email and newsletters, one native mobile application (@Chick-fil-A Now), podcasts, videos, livestreams and more.

He/she will work closely with the Corporate Communications team to develop strategies, processes and plans to effectively leverage our communications channels. He/she will seek to understand internal audiences, communications priorities, messaging strategies and business needs to consult and collaborate with the Corporate Communications team and other business partners on how to reach internal audiences. The Content Manager will collaborate with Corporate Communications to design and support editorial processes and practices that help facilitate strategic planning, including overseeing the Corporate Communications editorial calendar.
The individual in this role would collaborate with product leads on the Content and Channels team to develop aligned content and product strategies and plans. He/she will also oversee a team of agency partners who distribute and publish content through Corporate Communications channels.

Responsibilities
- Consults on how to strategically leverage our network of Corporate Communications channels to reach all internal audiences, including Chick-fil-A local Owner-Operators, their teams and corporate Staff (domestic and international).
- Partners with Corporate Communications team and business partners to understand content and messaging plans, and consults on and helps execute channel strategies to meet business and audience needs.
- Defines the strategy for how content is structured and displayed on internal communications channels focused on the company's intranet (@Chick-fil-A) but supporting across all channels, audiences and languages.
- Partners with Product Leads to align content strategies and plans with product strategies and roadmaps.
- Collaborates with Corporate Communications to oversee content strategy and management processes and practices.
- Manages Corporate Communications editorial processes, meeting structures and calendar.
- Continues to evolve processes and practices to account for new audiences, channels, business needs, etc.
- Oversees project management tools and resources to support editorial processes and calendar
- Oversees distribution experiences and content management processes across channels, partnering with Product Leads to recommend and launch changes and updates.
- Manages multiple agency partners responsible for distributing content across internal channels, including onboarding and training, resource forecasting, continuous improvement, feedback, etc.
- Partners with people leader and agency leader(s) to ensure agency staff are aligned with the needs of the business and optimized for efficiency within budget.
- Leads content initiatives across channels, including developing and executing against a roadmap. Initiatives could include content audits, reorganizing content, testing new content strategies, etc.
- Liaises with cross-functional business partners on content strategies across other internal platforms (i.e., training platform, Staff learning and development platform, etc.).
- Solicits and manages audience feedback and requests.
- Understands user behavior and analytics and uses them to consult on content strategies and recommendations.
- Monitors content marketing and strategy trends and translates them to Chick-fil-A business.
Minimum Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional work experience
- Experience with:
- A content management system or learning management system (or similar technology/platform)
- Managing web-based content
- Project management tools
- Developing, overseeing and facilitating new processes
- Collaborating across several business areas and managing multiple business stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- 5-7 years of professional work experience
- Experience using analytics and data insights to consult to a plan or strategy
- Search engine optimization and/or information architecture experience
- Ability to develop, manage, facilitate and execute a meeting strategy
- Chick-fil-A restaurant experience
