WOW Artist
Our Opportunity:
Chewy is looking for a dedicated and meticulous artist to join our WOW team, dedicated to enhancing customer dedication and passion. In this overnight/afternoon role, you will be an on-site creative artist, passionate about creating and customizing physical gifts for our customers. Your main responsibility will be our “Pet Memorialization Sympathy Stones” project for customers grieving the loss of a pet. Specifically, you will handwrite names on small stones, creating clean and readable designs, and incorporating symbols like rainbows, paw prints, hearts, angel wings, and halos. The perfect candidate will possess excellent handwriting and artistic skills, ensuring each stone is beautifully and thoughtfully crafted.
What you’ll do:
- Build art on different mediums with names and accompanying icons using acrylic and oil paint pens (i.e., painting memorial stones).
- Complete clean and legible lettering with precision and accuracy.
- Incorporate thematic elements into designs as required.
- Ensure that each stone is tastefully crafted and reflects the intended sentiment.
- Maintain the service level agreement of the art queue during your shift.
What you’ll need:
- Skilled painting, handwriting, and drawing abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to write and paint for extended periods.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
- Prior experience in art or design is preferred, but not required.
- Must have a portfolio showcasing relevant skills and previous work.
Additional Information:
- This is an hourly position.
- This role is in-person, on-site in our Plantation, FL office.
- This is an afternoon/overnight position.
