What You’ll Do:
- Design, develop, and implement large-scale distributed systems that process high volumes of data with a focus on scalability, low latency, and fault tolerance.
- Build, deploy, and scale robust Single Page Applications (SPAs), ensuring detailed user experiences across devices.
- Serve as a technical point of contact, clearly communicating project status, risks, and proposed solutions to multi-functional teams and partners.
- Develop system and component architectures, as well as scalable, well-documented APIs for a changing platform, ensuring product delivery and operational reliability.
- Lead critical infrastructure efforts such as Kubernetes migration and end-to-end CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment velocity and system reliability.
- Implement industry-leading observability practices including telemetry and logging to for system state and health metrics.
- Champion and implement cloud-native designs within public cloud environments, with a primary focus on AWS.
- Uphold enterprise architecture and coding standards by producing scalable, performant, and well-tested code. Set the benchmark through meticulous code reviews.
- Mentor and support the development of peers and junior engineers, encouraging growth.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships across engineering, product, and business teams to ensure alignment and successful project execution!
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science
- 3+ years front-end development experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing scalable, high-performing, and fault-tolerant applications for large enterprises
- Experience developing large-scale products using frontend technologies using React/JavaScript/ES6/Typescript/CSS
- 2+ years of software engineering experience with Java or other Object-Oriented Programming languages
- Experience with Payments or Fraud, with a good understanding of Payment Processing and Fraud vectors/mitigations
- Experience with micro-services, micro-frontend, and service oriented architecture
- Knowledge of professional software engineering for coding standards, code reviews, source control management, testing, and operations
- Hands-on experience working in a public cloud environment (AWS)
Preferred:
- Experience in e-commerce or Healthcare
- Experience with accessibility testing
- Experience in React, Vue, or Angular
- Experience with Selenium, Cypress, and automated testing tools
- Experience with AWS
- Experience with Jenkins
