Social Operations Manager

Today Plantation, FL

Our Opportunity:

We’re looking for a systems-minded, detail-driven operator to lead the infrastructure that powers Chewy’s social team! As the Social Operations Lead, you’ll build and coordinate the workflows that enable Chewy’s brand, enterprise, and One Social content to move from planning to publishing with clarity, quality, and speed.

This role is the connective tissue between strategy, creative, publishing, and performance. You’ll be responsible for content workflow execution, team coordination, and the operational management of our growing freelance and creator network. You’ll also work in close partnership with the Content Strategist and Community & Culture Strategist to help bring timely cultural activations and earned moments to life!

What You'll Do:

  • Own the master social publishing calendar and production workflow—ensuring visibility, alignment, and delivery across platforms and priorities.
  • Build, document, and optimize our end-to-end content process—from briefs to scheduling, approvals, and performance tracking.
  • Manage and coordinate the day-to-day workflow of freelance creators and content contractors, ensuring timely delivery and brand alignment.
  • Serve as the primary operational partner to the Content Strategist and Community & Culture Strategist—turning strategic plans into executable schedules and task plans.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, asset trackers, and status dashboards that support transparency and accountability across the team.
  • Lead daily newsroom briefings, weekly editorial syncs, cross-functional check-ins, and creative calendar updates.
  • Partner with analytics and insights to ensure published content is accurately tagged and tracked for performance review.
  • Drive consistent documentation practices and maintain an organized repository of creative assets, briefs, and performance recaps.
  • As One Social scales, help integrate operational systems and standards across organic, influencer, and paid, contributing to a unified publishing engine.
