Senior Director, Finance Consumables

Boston, MA

At Chewy, we strive to become the most trusted and convenient online destination for pet parents and our partners – vets and service providers – alike! Our success is measured by the happiness of the people and pets we serve, not simply by the amount of pet supplies we deliver. That’s why we continue to think of outside-the-Chewy-box ways to delight, surprise, and thank our loyal pet lovers!

Chewy is seeking a Senior Director of Finance, Consumables to join our Finance team based in Plantation, FL. This is a critical leadership role within the Commercial Finance organization, responsible for partnering with the Consumables Brand team, collaborating across finance and business category leaders, and developing robust metrics, reporting, and analytics. You will lead budgeting and forecasting for the Consumables business—including annual planning, interim forecasts, and reporting for internal leadership and the Board. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical and systems skills, along with the ability to engage senior business leaders in setting strategy and long-term goals. You should have a deep understanding of financial modeling and strategic planning, balanced with a high attention to detail. Experience evaluating new business opportunities in e-commerce or technology environments is highly desirable. In this role, you’ll work cross-functionally with leaders across the organization to deliver actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making. This position reports to the Vice President of Commercial Finance and will work closely with the Vice President of Consumables and the President of Retail, playing a key role in driving continuous improvement across forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting processes.
