Your Opportunity:

Chewy is looking for a Rebate Analyst to join the Rebate Center of Expertise team. This role is responsible for supporting rebate accounting, financial tracking, and operational efficiencies. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in financial analysis, data validation, and process improvement to ensure compliance and accurate rebate reporting.

As a Rebate Analyst, you will play a key role in the vendor rebate program, which contributes approximately $2 billion to the business. You will partner with cross-functional teams, identify areas for improvement, and ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of rebate processes. Given the materiality and complexity of vendor rebates, this role is critical in minimizing rebate leakage, improving data quality, and ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist in period-end close tasks and external and internal audit deliverables related to vendor rebates
• Support the validation and analysis of rebate calculations to ensure compliance with vendor contracts.
• Develop and maintain reports to track rebate metrics, accruals, and variances.
• Collaborate with finance, accounting, and merchandising teams to ensure rebate accuracy.
• Assist in data validation and audit processes related to rebate programs.
• Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements for rebate operations.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to improve reporting capabilities.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 0-2+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or rebate support roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
• Understanding of rebate accounting, contract compliance, and accruals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze large datasets.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
