Our Opportunity:
Chewy is hiring Specialists for our Category Management team in our headquarters in Plantation, FL. These Specialists will support specific categories; Responsibilities include handling vendor ticket resolution, promotions setup, new vendor & new SKU onboarding and new assortment onboarding. The Category Specialist will often be the first point of contact for vendors; it is essential to deliver high quality, thoughtful service to our vendors. This person will directly craft our vendor partners and customers experience, which in turn, builds the Chewy brand.
You will implement and deliver priorities in an organized fashion and according to service level agreements (SLA's). Consistently delivering on routine tasks that support broader category strategies and maintain vendor relationships through ambitious situations. This role will require strong verbal & written communication skills, attention to details, the absorption of information & experiences quickly, and to apply findings. Flexibility, solution-oriented, and having a customer-oriented mindset, will contribute you your success.

What You'll Do:
- Review and complete vendor tickets on a daily/weekly basis in line with our SLAs
- Set up and implement promotions as per category manager direction
- Ensure new vendors / new SKUs are onboarded according to SLAs; troubleshoot issues and raise when vital
- Work cross-functionally with supply chain, private label, finance, catalog and promotion teams
What You'll Need:
- Completion of a BS/BA degree desired
- 0-1+ years of experience with a preference in ecommerce, buying, account management, product management, category management, operations, analytics, finance or marketing
- Good analytical abilities and problem-solving skills (Excel, SQL is a plus)
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Examples of being a proven self-starter with a bias for action, attention to detail, and ownership.
