Our Opportunity:
Chewy’s Pharmacy Organization is calling for a dynamic Business Intelligence Analyst II to join our team! This Chewtopian will use a wide set of technical and analytical skills to help us advance our data analytics and reporting initiatives for the Rx Network. In this role, the best candidate will support the Project Management Organization (PMO) through creating robust and well-crafted data tools. Duties of this position include but are not limited to setting up data pipelines, analyzing large data sets, investigating data anomalies, developing intuitive data visualizations, extracting actionable insights, presenting results to leaders, developing solutions for intricate business problems, and automating manual data processes.

What You’ll Do:
The successful candidate will have a foundational knowledge of working with SQL and BI tools. Day-to-day responsibilities will focus around performing deep-dive investigations into data questions and weaving those findings into an effective story to inspire changes within the fulfillment network and vet services. Under the leadership of other Team Members, this role will develop operational metrics and build proven data products using BI tools and other software. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for taking analytic findings and working with customers to implement the methods used in the analysis to drive analytic insight around the findings. This role is high visibility and high impact. Good communication and collaboration are essential.
What You’ll Need:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering, statistics, computer science, business with analytics focus, or related field, or equivalent working experience.
- 2+ years of related full-time experience in an analyst role working on a business team, preferably in e-commerce or retail industry.
- Intermediate knowledge of SQL and prior experience of data modelling and performance tuning techniques are a must-have.
- Experience with ETL techniques and BI resources (Tableau, KNIME, Control M, SSIS, Alteryx etc.) used for data transformation and visualization.

- Reconcile data issues between various systems and find opportunities to drive i
- Proven knowledge of using data visualization tools (preferably Tableau) and using multiple data sources and several dashboards.
- Participate in quality control and testing initiatives for work produced by the team.
- Foundational understanding of statistical concepts such as correlation, regression, time series forecasting.
- Conceive, develop, and implement analytics solutions to sophisticated business problems
- Experience in defining and documenting requirements for building high quality and impactful data products.
- Passionate about using data to drive innovation within a fast-paced and ambiguous
- Translates data results into dashboards, written reports, tables, graphs and charts to convey information to management in a digestible and visually appealing format
- Builds ad hoc reports and views frequently to help management understand, research, and analyze issues.
- Adheres to team standard methodologies and processes throughout
- Experience with warehouse operations and labor planning is highly valued.
- Any prior experience with R or Python is a big plus.
