  • Uses computer science engineering principles and software languages to design and develop complex software solutions specifically with the use of Salesforce Service Cloud 

  • Focuses on next-generation technologies that change how users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another

  • Actively participates in an integrated DevOps Team utilizing Agile methodologies with strong change management focus

  • Performs coding, unit testing and/or system configuration changes to resolve defects and/or develop new enhancements, utilizing standard procedures and techniques

  • Interest in and ability to learn new technologies and techniques.  Puts learning into action by modernizing applications through re-platforming, re-architecting, re-engineering, and automation

  • Provides daily operational support for several applications by troubleshooting incidents to identify root causes and solutions, identifying and resolving problems, designing and implementing configuration changes and monitoring performance

  • Proactive communication and quick response to project work and production issues.  Strong customer focus

  • Develops domain knowledge by understanding business processes

  • Monitors interfaces/data loads, administer security, and provide feedback/solutions on application performance

  • Identifies areas for improvement through understanding of technical and business requirements.  Partner with Application Engineers/team members to address tactical and strategic issues

  • Supports and/or drives technical upgrade projects and change initiatives

  • Develops and maintains technical support documentation

  • Maintains IP Compliance on systems and software as appropriate

Required Qualifications:

  • Has in-depth knowledges and experience working on Salesforce products and functionalities (Service Cloud preferred)

  • Proficiency in Salesforce configuration, Flows, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Component Framework, SOQL, JavaScript

  • Salesforce certifications are required (Platform Developer I & II preferred)

  • Understanding of customer service center business processes and technologies preferred

  • Must be a self-starter, can adapt to the use of new technology, able to multi-task, and able to work independently

  • Knowledge of security/access control, scalability, high availability, concurrency, online diagnoses, deployment, upgrade/migration, internationalization, production support and other SaaS enterprise software issues.

  • Has a keen eye for good architecture and the ability to develop new architecture and frameworks

  • Must have a disciplined, methodical, minimalist approach to designing and constructing layered software components that can be embedded within larger frameworks or applications

    • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with management, peers, and customers across disciplines and geographies to clearly articulate issues, impact, and advise on preferred solution(s).

    • Proven ability to meet priorities and produce high quality deliverables and results while handling multiple work items.

    • Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining effective relationships with peers and stakeholders.

    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a diverse team environment.
