The Content & Knowledge Team Lead role, within HR Shared Services (HRSS), is a position that covers both day to day operational aspects and also the provision of support across the HR function on a range of initiatives and projects that need input and guidance on their approach to content in myHR.

This role leads the high profile Content & Knowledge (CKS) team within HR Shared Services with team members based both in Manila and the US.  This is a broad role that covers both day to day operations and working across the HR function on a range of initiatives and projects.  The CKS Lead has a key part in improving our employees’ experience, across Chevron’s global operations, when interacting with HR through the myHR portal. 

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Leading the Content and Knowledge team and being an active contributor to the leadership team within HRSS.

  • Execution of documentation maintenance procedures covering generation & language translation, loading, change control, audit processes and expiration-archiving to ensure data integrity.

  • Acting as a Subject Matter Expert to lead the identification, development and implementation of best practices to actively support HR content and knowledge.

  • Supporting the CKS Team resolve complex user questions and working with the technical support teams to resolve system issues.

  • Engaging with Content, Service Owners and stakeholders (across (HRSS, BHR Ops, Business HR, COEs and project managers) to ensure content is accurate, up to date and is being continuously improved to support our employees’ adoption of self service tools and the HR Service Delivery model.

  • Partnering and influencing across the HR Service Delivery model to share best practices.

  • Proactively sourcing customer and HR feedback on the portal and knowledge to feed into how we optimize the employee and HRSS agent experience.  

  • Supporting the CKS Teams analysis of myHR (ServiceNow) data and sharing insights with content owners to feed into their work to optimize content.

  • Monitoring metrics to ensure overall effectiveness of the portal.

  • Reviewing external best practices on employee portals and identifying opportunities to implement new and different approaches in our internal employee portal.

  • Working closely with the Service Developer team and Product Line Manager in the refinement of the ServiceNow HR and portal strategy and associated shaping curve.  Providing input into the regular PI and Sprint prioritization activity and then supporting the implementation of prioritized changes.  These activities will be worked in conjunction with employee experience projects in 2022-2023.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 1-5 years Team Leadership experience

  • Content management and information management experience including content strategy development and execution.

  • Analytical and problem solving - Identifies and resolves complex issues and shares findings clearly and concisely.  Leverages data to draw insights to improve the employee experience

  • Innovation - Ability to support an agile environment that fosters innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Experience with ServiceNow portal is an advantage.

  • Knowledge and experience in design thinking and its application to end user experience is an advantage.
