About the team/role
Checkr is looking for a Senior Growth Marketing Manager to support and elevate the expansion of our consumer-facing offerings. These products are new and have witnessed exponential growth year to date - validating both the opportunity and momentum in the B2C space. Given the success of this business line and the sizable market potential, we're excited to make our first marketing hire in this area of the business.
This role will report to Checkr’s Website & SEO Manager and will be instrumental in shaping and scaling growth across search (organic & paid), performance marketing channels, web, social, email, and product marketing. The ideal candidate will have a generalist growth marketing background, with proven success building and executing B2C marketing strategies. This is a high-leverage opportunity to rapidly scale new products within a mature marketing organization.
What you’ll do
- Growth Strategy: Define the growth and user acquisition strategy for the B2C product line; spanning search (organic & paid), web, email, social, and programmatic channels, while overseeing execution through appropriate team stakeholders.
- AI-driven SEO: Lead B2C content strategy, utilizing AI tools to generate efficiencies across our entire content generation process.
- Website Strategy: Collaborate with core marketing team to enhance B2C website performance, experimentation, and optimization strategies.
- Paid Acquisition: Define the strategic direction and performance goals for B2C paid campaigns across social, display, search, and video; partnering with internal teams or external agencies to steer execution and optimization.
- Product Positioning: Refine personas and value propositions in collaboration with Product for stronger resonance and differentiation.
- Channel Testing & Analytics: Design and run experiments across acquisition channels, analyze performance data, refine targeting, and attribute results to inform strategy.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product and engineering teams to continuously adapt our strategy based on the product roadmap and insights into what is working.
What you bring
- 6+ years experience in digital marketing across SEO, performance marketing, email, social, and product marketing, ideally in high-growth B2C environments.
- Familiarity with AI-driven content engineering tools and workflows.
- A creative, test and learn mindset, particularly when it comes to testing cutting edge AI solutions and tools.
- Background in B2C marketing, preferably in a high-growth tech environment.
- Demonstrated experience in quickly testing and scaling new marketing channels, with a focus on speed and efficiency.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient with basic analytical tools (Google Sheets/Excel, Looker, Google Analytics).
- A desire to constantly improve and zero patience for inefficiency.
- Self starter: go-getter attitude who likes to get things done on their own initiative.

We use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop ranges for our roles and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range. If this role is remote, we have listed the top to the bottom of the possible range, but we will specify the target range for an exact location when you are selected for a recruiting discussion. The base salary range for this role is $146,000 to $172,000 in San Francisco, CA.
The base salary range for this role is $123,000 to $145,000 in Denver, CO.
