The role:

In this role, you will be responsible for researching and creating high-quality, informative content related to the payments industry.

Your work will be seen by a a global audience, help educate buyers on a wide range of payments topics, and help more businesses discover Checkout.com and our products. 
 

How you'll make an impact:

  • Research and write thought-leadership articles, blog posts, guides, and other forms of content related to the payments industry.
  • Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to maximise the visibility and reach of the content you create.
  • Work closely with other teams, including sales, product, and customer service, to ensure that content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with business goals.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure it meets the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Use website analytics and SEO tools to track the performance of your content and make data-driven decisions for future projects.
  • Upload content directly to the CMS and make other on-page optimizations when required
  • Represent Checkout.com in a positive light in discussions with merchants and other external partners (when required)

Qualifications

About you:

  • Hands-on experience in a similar role, preferably in the payments, fintech, or related sectors.
  • Ability to research and fully understand complex topics related to the payments industry.
  • Exceptional writing, communication, and presentation skills with extreme attention to detail.
  • Strong editing and proofreading skills, as well as professional experience.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and experience using website analytics and SEO tools (Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush etc.).
  • Experience writing for digital publications and websites.
  • Journalism qualification (or experience in a journalistic role) - a plus
  • Video content creation experience - a plus
